A Lifeline for Local Seniors.
Community Care Car is a volunteer operated non-profit organization providing transportation services to Woodland seniors. Door-to-Door service is available M-F, between 8:00AM - 2:00PM. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior. To make a reservation please call (530) 662-7800, Monday through Friday between 8:00AM - 3:30PM. This service is free, however a $2.00 donation is suggested.
When driving may no longer be an option, seniors can still maintain an independent, active lifestyle by scheduling rides to medical appointments, errands, exercise classes, social activities and more. Since 1973, our volunteers have been trusted to safely transport Woodland's seniors. Since the beginning, local businesses and community members have provided the financial assistance and support, which allows us to continue as an all-volunteer run non-profit organization.
